Craft Fair Ideas and Tips

I have spent the last few weeks working like a mad woman to get ready for the Berea Spring Art Fair at the Indian Fort Theatre.  It has been a lot of fun but also very stressful and expensive.  I had to purchase a tent and many other items such as tables for the first time.  These are a one time expense but an expense none the less.  I have spent countless hours on Pinterest looking for ideas and cool displays.  I ran across this pin that has tons of Art Fair advise and wanted to share it.  It is an extensive list that should take me the rest of the week to read with my nursing schedule.

Have fun.

New EHAG Member........I am so excited!!!!

I just recently became a proud member of the prestigious group EHAG(Eclectic Halloween Artists Guild) and tonight my first submission to the EHAG Emporium will go live.  I cannot wait for you guys to see what I will have when the doors creak open. In order to purchase the piece when they open you can please email me at kloppkids@yahoo.com

Price is $130.00 plus shipping.

What does a cat dress up as on Halloween?  A black cat of course!  And no cat costume would be perfect without his best buddy in a mask.  His blue bird dons a little black face mask to join him this year.
This sculpture is made of polymer clay and measures 11.5 inches tall.

If you have any questions please email me. I work 3rd shift so I will be checking through out the morning. Goes live at 12 midnight tonight

New Items on PFAtt Marketplace For February

It has been many years since I added items to PFatt Marketplace.  At that time I was working under the name Nanny Norton Prims doing extreme primitive dolls.  I have changed a lot over the years and evolved into more mediums and a more whimsical style. I decided to rejoin the wonderful PFatt Markeplace community and have already spoken to some wonderful vendors.  It is a terrific venue and they have wonderful items.  Here is a link to take a peek at all the goodies.

Beer Buddies Refrigerator Magnets

I love goofy magnets and I love to drink beer and I have both a beer and a wine fridge. So it was an easy decision to make some goofy magnets to go on the front of the fridge.  Have you ever gotten to the fridge after a few beers and stopped just to steady yourself long enough to pull the door open?  Well I know the feeling and these little guys are there to cheer you on.  Sometimes I need that pep talk before I grab another cold Mich Ultra from the caverns of the frozen tundra.  If you don't drink you could use them to talk you down from that coconut cream pie. Either way they are a necessity in todays hectic life.

My Grinch Tree if finished and I just love it

Finished Tree
Hand in tree
Feet positioned under tree

Second layer of Celluclay

I really enjoyed making my Grinch theme tree. I started with drawing out what I wanted for the hands and feet and went from there. I decided to start with a cloth head and add celluclay.  I then added paper clay for details.  This was an ongoing process over several days. After it was dry I painted and stained the finished piece and wired the head to the top of the tree.  I plan on adding ornaments and such and will keep you posted.
