I love to paint and design dolls from paper and polymer clays. My husband Mike loves to make art from Driftwood from the Cumberland River that falls over the Cumberland Falls near our home in SE Kentucky. This blog is a chronicle of our work and what inspires us. A lot of my favorite things are antique dolls, surreal art and the sweet macabre if those two can go together. My husband is inspired by primitive art and the feel and smell of old wood. I hope you enjoy browsing through our pages.

Two Websites To Check Out
I have now have two websites. One for my wild side and one for my primitive side. I really can't choose between the two. Sometimes I am compelled to go to the wild dark side. I have the site up and running now. I still have tons more work to do, but maybe I can find time soon.

New Prim Aceo with June and Gertie
Today I worked on some aceo cards. They are so wonderful to do, I will probably need stronger glasses if I keep it up though.
This is June, Gertie and Annie. Gertie has on her flag blankie, she is giving June the look over.
I also did some outsider ones today. I finished up a Humpty Dumpty card today too. He is praying to the glue god. He is listed on ebay. Bless his heart. He doesnt have a chance.

New Christmas Door Hanger
Here is my new Snowman Door Hanger. She is so cute with her little one
next to her with his little dollie. Even snow babies need a dolly you know. My husband was so sweet to make this for me to paint. He is an artist and sometimes joins me in my little world. This item is listed on ebay right now just in time for the holidays.
