Cumberland Falls Arts

I love to paint and design dolls from paper and polymer clays. My husband Mike loves to make art from Driftwood from the Cumberland River that falls over the Cumberland Falls near our home in SE Kentucky. This blog is a chronicle of our work and what inspires us. A lot of my favorite things are antique dolls, surreal art and the sweet macabre if those two can go together. My husband is inspired by primitive art and the feel and smell of old wood. I hope you enjoy browsing through our pages.

Great Site for Doll Classes

Sometimes I spend hours just browsing the net because I have exhausted my creative light so I came upon this website a while ago that offers doll classes at an affordable price. I thought I would share this site with any OOAK doll makers out there. Knowledge is power they say and it certainly makes the day go faster, LOL.
They have some great classes on basics for polymer and Sculpey clays.
