I just read the story of the Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy by Tim Burton and oh my how sad. I was expecting a child's story but this was a little off the beaten path. It has all the classic signs of a a children's story and then...............Well you will have to read for yourself. Truly interesting take on the lame, lost and blind.
Tim Burton Stories
I love to paint and design dolls from paper and polymer clays. My husband Mike loves to make art from Driftwood from the Cumberland River that falls over the Cumberland Falls near our home in SE Kentucky. This blog is a chronicle of our work and what inspires us. A lot of my favorite things are antique dolls, surreal art and the sweet macabre if those two can go together. My husband is inspired by primitive art and the feel and smell of old wood. I hope you enjoy browsing through our pages.
